Review on Anti-Aggregation-Enabled Colorimetric Sensing Applications of Gold and Silver Nanoparticles

چکیده

Gold- and silver nanoparticles (Au NPs Ag NPs)-based colorimetric detection of specific analytes has attracted intense research interest is still in great demand. The majority Au NPs- NPs-based sensory reports have revealed that, during the analyte recognition, dispersed typically aggregated displayed color changes from wine-red to blue/purple yellow orange/brown, respectively. On other hand, only a few demonstrated that underwent anti-aggregation presence certain analytes, which reversed orange/brown yellow, correspondingly. There are some examples phenomena mentioned vast number studies on sensors via NP aggregation. However, review targeting anti-aggregation-enabled sensing diverse not yet available. In this review, anti-aggregation-facilitated metal ions, anions, bio-analytes, pesticides, herbicides delivered with detailed underlying mechanisms. Moreover, probe design, requirement, merits, limitations, future scope discussed.
